Bing was an open admirer of Louis Armstrong. He owes much of his vocal style to Louis. I still think Frank Sinatra when he was "on". Although I don't like everything he did, I prefer Frank to Bing any day. He could really swing. Heck, maybe that little bit of eye-talian in me... Brían
