Here's one that's haunted me for about forty-five years. It was a Christmas jingle marketing General Electric Christmas tree lights.

Here's a midi of the melody, and here's what little I remember of the lyrics:

There's love and laughter in the air
Dum dum dum as can be
Dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum
May G.E. light your tree.

Make no mistake. If this had been a complete Christmas song (and perhaps it was) it would have made a fine addition to anyone's Christmas collection. I remember it getting positive caller feedback on CFRB in Toronto back in the 50's(?)

Ring any (Christmas) bells with anyone?
