Do you remember the sssssnakesss ssssong in Jungle Book? Isn't it brilliant the way the ss's are abused to make this a truly vile animal, singing: trussssssst in meee, trussssst in meee.. Reading this thread I thought it deserved its place in the Hall of Vowels and Consonants. Also: sometimes the way either vowels or consonants are pronounced (rather than the lenght) can be truly exciting - or offputting. The worst I find when a T is pronounced as TS. Very irritsatsing, don't you think? Tsara for now!
