Well we appear to have cracked it We have the title The author The music We know it started as just a tune We have one complete set of words We have scraps of lots of other parodies using this tune We have a scrap from the risque version
As an aside I brought up this subject with my mother last night and sure enough she had the same few words as I had. She then confirmed the title which set me back and then sang the first few lines of the risque one which set everybody back
