I would have to say that, from my POV, you are justified in your disgust. I think the very best thing anyone can do is to notify as many folks as possible.

E-mail your findings to "Scambusters", and give out their URL to friends and family so they can keep up to date on what scams are current, and which old ones still need to be watched.
