Rapaire - Those are precisely the "whales" I thought of when I saw the topic. For YEARS there was a whaleback visible off the breakwater at the Muskegon (MI) harbor entrance in Lake Michigan. I've forgotten which one, but she missed the entrance in a storm - caught by a freak wave and thrown onto the breakwater. That holed her hull, broke her back and the next large wave lifted her off and down she went. If I remember right all her crew but one was saved. Cheers- Pete
