Hello Dan,

I can relate to your post. Gary and I talked about the evening in mention where he sang the song in Maine. I understood it was some time ago however so perhaps he's returned to the jam location again. I hope he has as he's a jam junkie to say the least.I was thrilled to have a person in here looking for one of my songs.

Gary and his wife Mary are treasures as are the others on the island like R Fitch and Faye. Those folks are second to none and made me feel so welcome during my time there.

Gary also writes and I love his material. The times oh the times with gary and Fitch. The Campobello clan all head to Canso for the Stan Rogers festival each year. It's a time I look forward to each year. You always know when you've made a great friend when you pick up where you left off as soon as you have the chance to get together again regardless of how much time has passed.

I'm so happy Gary has learned the song and helps share my music with others. If you see him please send my warmest regards and ask him if he's ever found a lobster in his guitar case. He may have a few pictures to show and great tales to share.
