Romper Room was made and broadcast locally, when it was on the air--so it was "Miss _______," depending on where you lived. (And you don't have to be so all-fired old to remember it, either--I was born in '61...) In the Detroit area, it was Miss Sally, and I was always SO disgusted that she could never see ME in her "magic mirror!" I always sang along on the "Do-Bee" song, and figured she owed me... BTW, listening to the midi at the kididdles site just brought to my attention that "Looby Loo" is the same melody, basically, as "The Farmer in the Dell." Strange I never noticed before...I've known both songs since I was a preschooler. --denise:^)
