An able-bodied Queensland parliamentarian found himself in an embarrassing plight last week after entering a disabled toilet. Peter Slipper tried pushing and pulling the door, but he eventually concluded that he was trapped, and called a fellow Liberal MP on his mobile phone. Four security guards arrived and opened the sliding door. The Speaker, Neil Andrew, said the incident was a timely reminder for MPs to sharpen their toilet know-how during the Christmas party season, reports News.com.au. Please keep an eye on the toilets tonight guys, if someone became trapped we might be needed to assist the rescue operation.
