CRANKYYANKEE Tech: Swap my long neck for standard (4) Tech: Swap my long neck for standard 19 Dec 02

Want to swap my long neck for standard neck (not the whole banjo)
Mine fits Bacon. Neck was made to fit Bacon original in 1925, by master craftsman Todd Farnham of Tiverton, Rhode Island. Now deceased. It is beautifully inlid in Abalone and Mother of Pearl. Has old style "Grover" geared pegs. I won't swap the Bacon pot, so don't ask.
My only requirement is that the standard neck is well made and serviceable.

Playing in E on the long neck is at the end of my reach and it wears out my 73 year old arms.
