The tune is a vairient of "Bonnie Strathire". The song, as posted, was written and recorded by, music hall ledgend, hotell owner and enthsiastic motor cylcist, G.S. Morris, better known to his legion of fans in the bothies and the north east, as Geordie. Amoungst his other "hits" were, "A Pair 'o Nicky Tams", "Neeps Tae Pluck" and "Muckle Friday Fair". cheers
