GUEST,LesB(UK) Lyr Req: Ask me No Questions - Bridget St John (5) Lyr Add: ASK ME NO QUESTIONS (Bridget St John) 21 Dec 02

Hi Guest Christine, I used to be a big Bridget St John fan way back, She was the original flower child, so gentle. I remember at a Fest at Rugby her offering her return ticket back to London to the audience because she had got a lift. Weird gig that only a handful of punters, a complete flop, my one & only Rock Fest, but a great time. What a line up, King Crimson, Free, Genesis, Edgar Broughton Band, Third Ear Band, Pink Floyd, The Strawbs & so many more & no one got paid! Anyway, here are the Lyrics from my (autographed) copy of the album of the same name.

ASK ME NO QUESTIONS

Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies if you don't mind, and come with me,

There where the sun flies, there where the sky is bluer still is, where I'll be there,

Take nothing with you, I'll give you everything I can, have no fear,

For if you stumble, or should fall down on the way, I'll be there.

Close your eyes my love; close your eyes gently come.

And in the morning, don't tell a soul of what you saw, it's just for you, Keep this a secret; make me a promise that you will I'll make one too.

Close your eyes my love; close your eyes gently come.

Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies if you don't mind, and come with me,

There where the sun flies, there where the sky is bluer still is, where I'll be there,

Cheers

Les
