"It's the real world now, the information flying through the ether... it's wrapped in plastic, and it smells like Febreeze..." It's NOT the real world. it is the world foisted upon us by Hollywood and Madison Avenue. It is what the pundits and producers choose to let us see. The real world lives in your neighborhood, in your city, shares your planet. The real world is too harsh for a lot of pansy-types - they'd rather forget child-prostitution rings and domestic violence and American jobs sold overseas and people dying in gang wars. It's time to wake up and smell the culture we've created. Not pretty, but it's 'real'.
