Hi Oombanjo OK here goes. My ODE longneck 5 is a 27 1/8" scale from the 3rd fret to the bridge at the center. Its 13 9/16" from the 3rd to the 12 th fret. And it is 5 3/32" from the nut to the 3rd fret. Banjo iontonation is somewhat variable because of the nature of the bridge and the sag of the top of the banjo. But using the formulae given earlier in the thread you should be able to determine the fret locations much easier now. I also agree with Brother Jed, the fretless was surprisingly less a problem than I thot it would be. Good lucvk, tell us how she goes from here. Don
