my party trick always seems to be telling people how old i am and then letting them get on with that disscussion they always have about the songs i wont know, the famous people i wont recognise, the things that will mean nothing to me because im just too young to remember.... yes here i am again taking my place as the youngest at the party.... 1st of january 1982. that makes me 17 if your maths is failing you. i can hardly belive it myself sometimes. according to my friends im more 17-going-on-70 but never mind. anyone want to challenge that then? or any other new year babies? apparently its very lucky for a family to have a baby born on the 1st, but im not sure if my mother would agree seeing as i was born in the middle of a snow storm in (so ive been told) one of the black holes of this otherwise lovely isle called Ormskirk. it means 'the place of the worm' and makes me a Lancashire Lass. or so ive been told. love ivy b*
