Review: The Sun, Beverley

Just wanted to let folks know there is a nice gathering early evening at the Sun Inn, Beverley near Hull ... a pretty receptive audience and talented musicians (I wasn't one of them ...). I did get to sing "General Taylor" and "Fathom the Bowl" which seemed to go down ok ...
I overheard some interesting comments from one of the locals to his mates about this particular gathering though: seemed to have a chip on his shoulder about managerial types (or those that delegate work) being the sort of folks doing this thing. This guy earlier breezed in, walked straight through the circle when he could have just walked around -- welcome to Yorkshire I thought to meself ... (just wondering if there is some tension on this sort of thing in English pubs ... should I bring brass knuckles in the future?).
Anyroad ... having a great time in the UK ...
Cheers,
Brian
