I absolutely love my Albert Alfonso drum. Tonal quality is excellent, they're terrific in all climes because of the tuning mechanism and Albert's a great person to deal with. Also, if you're the adventurous type, there are Metloef drums which are made from kangaroo skins. They've got unique sound properties and are fun to play. Good luck!
