I often listen to Traditions and I can say that the music I hear is superior to the stuff found on comercial radio. This program is one of a few in a vast market that plays the music of folkies and delivers mini documentaries about the music and musicians and/or folks devoted to folk music. I know Ron and Bill are volunteers and produce their programs at personal expense because of their commitment. Traditions has the potential to reach millions of listeners but no dobut has a much smaller audience. It deserves to be supported. During yesterday's fundraiser, they played a spot of Brittany Spear's music. It was intended to be a mockery of the genre. I had a viseral reaction leading me to make a pledge so that my listening choices weren't reduced. Hey, send them a sawbuck or maybe a few. We have a collective responsibility to support the music we love. Ellen
