Ed I've searched through RACCA which list most Cornish tunes (old and new) but there is no mention. Of course it could have been written by someone outside Cornwall. Have you searched for Trip to Foy as you probably know that's how it is pronounced?
I'll ask around at a Cornish session I'm going to on Saturday.
