Spot the Dog, has hit the spot (excuse the pun) with this. All these arguments were aired last year and still it's the clique of industry 'professionals' telling us who is the best at such and such. Music awards are about the music industry and selling records and foster idolatry and sycophancy, which I don't think is what folk music should be about. Piers
