Depending on how old the recording is, it could be by Sonerien Sant Yann (I think).
I raised a query some time ago about the chorus of a song which starts at 10 and works downwards -
J'ai dix ou neuf moutons dans mon village en haut
J'ai dix ou neuf moutons dans mon village en bas (x 2)
Chorus: Dans mon village en haut, dans mon village en bas
Eh change-tu, Madelina Madelaine
Eh change-tu, Madelaine, dors-tu?
Except that I wasn't really sure about the chorus. Perhaps 'Eh charge-en-tu, Madaleena Madelaine'.
I received a reply from soc.culture.breton from someone who sings -
Il y a dix ou neu bistrots dans mon village d'en haut, etc.
I also have another version somewhere that goes 'dans mon menage en haut, etc'.
After all this, it probably won't be the one. I sing it with our ceilidh band and get people to do the dance for it. Breton dance is very popular here because of our inter-Celtic festival, Yn Chruinnaght, in July.
Lhiats,
