Agreed,42 JV is a great player. His approach couldn't be much more different from his brothers. Concise, interlocking solos with wicked tone and infectious grooves. Actually one of the things I liked about SRV is that for all his chops he would occasionally back off and just play very slow and soulfully. Check out their excellent Family Style duet album. vl.
