If listing fine dulcimer players is the point of this (I thought it had to do with wide commercial distribution - quantity, rather than quality) then we must mention Lorraine Lee Hammond again and add the names of Leo Kretzner and Ron Ewing. Howie Mitchell would also be included, if he were still actively making music in venues other than his own living room. But maybe that's where much of the loveliest dulcimer playing takes place. |
