I heard a fabulous blues number on one of those satellite radio systems in a bar that I have not been able to locate since. I'd ike to know the singer and where I can find the track.
It's a very moving number where a woman is telling how she refuses to be independent. It's a positive spin on this sentiment. That is, the lyrics call attention to the fact that she won't settle for a relationship that does not recognize a mutual emotional support/dependence for the two people involved. I believe that in the refrain, she wails: "I won't be independent"
