Helen, The most commonly sung words are to be found in a collection by the Late Seán Ó Baoill called "Cnuasacht de Cheoltaí Uladh." It continues to be re-published at fairly irregular intervals and is at the moment out of print unfortunately. The title is "Buachaill ón Eirne" = " a Boy from the Erne" this reference being to either the river or lough of the same name, or what is much more reasonable, the district in which both are found. Sorry I can't be of more assistance. Roddy |
