Thanks for response..Actually, was looking to see what events are going on around Anchorage during that time.. as well as suggestions for things to do..inexpensive lodging, etc...(If that isn't too much of an oxymoron...!)... We do have our airline tickets & car rented, but trying to avoid pricy hotels as we just want place to sleep... were thinking of possibly renting an RV or van..any suggestions or alternatives?...do they have anything like hostels etc? ...thanks... Gary
