I'd just like to say that myself and some friends have played support to Fairport at Universities/Clubs etc.' on several occasions and became good friends. Our drummer went on to play in an incarnation of the Albion Band. They, like us, have always been prodigious drinkers, but never once have I seen it interfere with their professionalism or ability.
