Whilst unashamedly plugging Holmfirth Festival can I mention that we pride ourselves on being "young person" friendly - Kate Rusby , Last Night's Fun, The Pack all started here. This year the concerts on Friday (Flook) and Sunday (Vin Garbutt) will have young school based bands as the opening acts, and on the Vin Garbutt bill there is also Kerfuffle. They are one of the most exciting bands around and are destined for big things. (They are doing their GCSE's) We also have Harriet Barlett who whilst a seasoned performer and a competition winner at Celtic COnnections is still very young and Ruth Notman another very young performer.

And for the more "pop" oriented - Chumbawamba on the Sunday night!!
