Hi Folks. Just to ask for support for the Uxbridge Folk Club charity event (in aid of the Shooting Stars" charity) Saturday April 26th at the historic Crown and Treaty, Oxford Rd. Uxbridge.

We have a marquee for the pub car park and are looking for people to fill it, so dancing sides / stall holders / anybody else with a good idea please contact Glen at tim.glen@virgin.net or call 01895-636851

Also please contact with snail-mail address if you can diseminate some publicity for us.

Details will be on our website uxbfolk.freewire.co.uk but the main points are:-

Singaround in the bar 5.00pm - 8.00pm (run by Tony O'Neil~ we need singers / musicians / drinkers / anyone prepared to pay a small "fine" for no reason whatsoever other than it goes to the charity.

Evening concert featuring "Dangerous Curves" & "les Sullivan & Kitty Vernon"

Harmony workshop and song writing workshop.

Bring and buy stall ~ Bring unwanted CD's / records / song books / Saltarelle Clifdens (well I can always hope) & you might just find that old LP you've been looking for...

And, most important ~ late license 'till midnight!

Answers to FAQ's:-

No, you don't have to sing if you don't want to.

No, I don't really know what I'm doing in posting this message, and if anyone wants to make a better job of it, please do so.
Thanks to all ~ Glen
