michaelr-Reading the whole article, I find that your rejoicing is a little premature on two counts. First, the problem threatens therapeutic cloning and some forms of assisted reproductive technology. While there is certainly room for debate about the benefits of human cloning, I find it very difficult to argue against regenerative technologies, or techniques that would allow same-sex couples children. Secondly, they're already making progress on ways around the problem.
