Notwithstanding that it sounds good, 'blacklisting' does not apply here. There is no concerted, industry wide effort to deny Tim Robbins either his livelihood, nor even the right to speak his mind. One organization chose not to let him appear at their party because they don't like what he says about current events. They both have the right to be stupid! Robbins can speak wherever he can find a forum, while those who object to those comments need not provide the forum.
