About 3am monday morning (AK DLS Time) I was about to call it a year for the Folk Festival that Ebbie mentioned at the start of the Thread...Things at the jam space were winding down, folks were going to bed. I was playing in the 3rd floor laundry room of a local hotel when in walked Albert Arsenault and one of his "billeters", a woman named Liz. They had been looking for the best acoustics in the hotel, and as everyone knows, laundry rooms are great (close second to shower stalls and bathrooms). I put my mandolin away, propped myself up on a washing machine, and was treated (at arms length) to one of the best displays of fiddling and clogging I have ever witnessed. About 8 of us got a chnce to see this, and it will be a lasting memory, I'm sure.
