As Phil P mentions the Bromborough Folk Club at the Bridge Inn, Bolton Road, Port Sunlight is a good venue (my own local club (Hi Phil!))but there are others in the Folk Orbit such as Mr Happy's own club at The Union Vaults in Chester also on Wednesday nights, and also well worth a visit is the Everyman in Hope Street, Liverpool on Tuesday nights. I have also seen occasional references to casual sinarounds, but I suspect these may appeal more to the orthographically challenged, and be of greater interest to folkswingers.
