I'll reserve judgment on Russel Crowe until I see what he has done to Aubrey, but Jack's physical appearance is mentioned that often in the books it will be hard to shift my perception. Still, I did get used to Sean Bean as Sharpe..... Thanks, EBarnacle, for the catharpins. I've been thinking of looking up some of the terms for fun, and perhaps I will now get round to it.
