Dave has now forwarded me the funeral details as follows:

Alan's funeral will take place on Thursday 26th June at 2pm at the Memorial Woodlands, Earthcott Green, Alveston, Bristol. All Alan's friends and fellow musicians are welcome to attend.
From M5 J16 go North on the A38 towards Thornbury. Turn right at the Rudgeway traffic lights onto the B4059 (following brown sign to "Memorial Woodlands") towards Yate. Turn left at crossroads (towards Tytherington), Entrance is 3/4 mile on the left.
No flowers please, donations to the RNLI if you wish. Bring an umbrella and stout shoes as there will be some walking.
In the evening (about 7pm onwards) there will be a big music session to celebrate Alan's life, in the Nova Scotia Pub, Cumberland Basin, Hotwells, Bristol. Musicians, non-musicians and friends of Alan are all welcome.
