Bert and Kat may both have a point about being careful with a song. The Kooliger version I posted was the first I heard from my older brother's collection back in the 50's. However, I was recently and shortly married to a woman who had only heard the original Hank Williams version. When I sang the Homer & Jethro version, she took offense. Said I was desecrating Kaw-liga. Now she's gone. I dunno. Maybe it's presumptious of me to say I'm Jethro's friend too.
