Good idea David! - In some ways it may be a good thing. The Tudor Barn where we hold our weekly folk club, cannot get a license at present, even though the landlord is willing to pay - they cannot make the alterations to the building that the conditions of the PEL require - because it is a listed building!!! The irony is that Greenwich council own it! If I am interpreting what I've seen of the bill correctly, these conditions will be suspended in the case of acoustic music - so we'll be alsight for our sing-arounds. Not sure about the PA nights though, I think there was some sort of mention of partial suspension of conditions - if so which parts?
