First, I'd like to say how grateful I am to have what I regard as one of the finest live albums -- and certainly the best Bud & Travis album -- ever, at last on CD. $30 is a bit much, but I don't regret having paid it. That said, a couple of questions/quibbles: There's no licensing information given on the package (that I can find, at least). Did you get it from EMI, or does somebody else now own the rights? Technical information: is this from a first-generation two-track? Remixed from a multi-? Pieced together from the vinyl albums? There are a couple of places where there's a blank space, rather than applause (cross-faded or otherwise). Why? Nice liner notes, but why no credits for the songwriters or accompanying musician(s)? There's at least a bassist -- possibly "Buck" Wheat; possibly on guitarron -- who may also be playing the occasional percussion. But isn't he, whomever he is, worth mentioning? For that matter, why no original album art? Again, thanks for putting the album out. And if you're still reading this thread, perhaps you'd care to address my questions.
