Hey folks, this information is great! I knew I could count on the folks at mudcat...but it's still early in the evening...let's hear from some more. When this thread starts to sink I'm going to print it off and head for the Homestead Pickin' Parlor for some knew CD's! Oh, by the way Vixen (and I don't call too many peolple by that name!), Greg Brown won't work. He's an old friend of mine -we used to sit in my kitchen in Iowa City and trade tunes -I was working as a college graduate carpenter two blocks away and I'd rush home over the noon hour to play guitar. The other fellow in this jam was Chuck Henderson - a great guitar player who later played in the "Greg Brown Band" - yes, there was such a thing - I've still got the tapes. We're going back to 1970-73 to get back in that kitchen. Anyway, thank you one and all!
