McGrath, the plugs you are talking about are the power cables for the drives. All the ones of the same size are the same. In any case, the BIOS wouldn't even find the drive and possibly the system wouldn't even reach the point of trying to boot Windows if there were prolems at that level.

Try deleting all your hard disks in Control Panel and rebooting. Windows should find them again.
