Immediately after the outage, GWBush said the answer is to let his Cheney team tackle the problem. Odds are this was govt-sponsored terrorism. Just like on 9-11, when the Pentagon bombed itself and then pointed outward from the rubble, the US govt-controlled media immediately pointed the finger at Canada after the power outage. And troops rolled out across the American northeast and now people think MORE govt control is the answer.

What's needed is a return to small, locally-owned power companies. Let communities use oil or methane, whatever suits them. Use a grid only for emergencies. If this doesn't happen, the govt can turn off the power any time it wants. The answer is NOT more govt control.
