Real Audio is as bad in their way as MS..it is Real Work to keep it from selling you advanced versions and making itself the default player and running ads on top of everything...I don't know whether the Linux version has all these issues.

however, in Windows,the above mentioned JetAudio WILL play Real Audio formats (including streaming)..and has better playlists and other features as well. This, of course, does nothing to help us if a station simply decides to go with WMA.

(I keep thinking I ought to try Linux, now that they have begun to make installation a bit simpler, but I have SO many programs that are not compatible....maybe a dual boot system soon)
