A gnome in Nome was headed home,
After a day at the Zoo,
The wind was rough, and cold and blough,
But could see it threw...
Still, at the Zoo,
The new Gnu, he knew,
Was having it quite tuff.

Next day, he vowed, he'd ask the crowed
That gathers there, to vough the Gnu
As others dough, and donate with a view
Of buying this poor frigid beast
A mough to warm its nose and houghs,
And mitigate its cough.
