You can go to "My Computer" (should be a desktop icon), then "Control Panel" then "System". Single click "System Devices" tab and then the "+" sign by "Sound Video and Game Controller". This should show you what sound cards you have. Mine says "Creative Sound Blaster, (yada, yada)"
