Following the old canals, especially the one near Cirencester, was certainly one of the blissiest experiences I have ever had. The whole area, for some reason, feels like parts of northern France. Maybe has something to do with the old sheep trade. (Not that northern France is better, just something I noticed).

While on the subject, does anyone know of any towns and villages on the seaside that aren't messed up? I am thinking of doing some visiting next year.
