These viruses don't come in e-mails. They spread to computers straight from the internet. If someone's running Win2K or WinXP, has no firewall and hasn't done the security patch thingie, they're at risk even if the just get on the internet.

The attachment worms can propogate pretty fast through address books. I've been on the receiving end of one of these epidemics.
