Canada is probably the best place in the world at the present time, everything from mountains, prairies, Atlantic Islands. The Durham region east of Toronto is great, places like Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax. A 2 bedroom house with garden will run around $150,000 to # 180,000 ( Canadian Dollars) approx $110,000 to $135,000 u.s. Houses can be much more expensive in the greater Toronto area. Wee ENJOY 4 DEFINITE SEASONS, VERY WARM SUMMERS And VERY BRISK WINTERS with moderate Fall and Spring. The Province of Ontario has over 1 million lakes, lots of fishing, hunting, camping, nature trails etc. Cities are very clean and relatively safe compared to other places. citizens are friendly and display lots of tolerance towards all etnic groups and cultures. The annual St. Patrick's Day parade is one of the largest in the world, so also the annual Caribana Festival. Work can be found if you are willing to do anything (legal). Professional sports teams like the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs, NBA's Toronto Raptors, The American League's Toronto Blue Jays and The Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.We do have some problems but overall it is a great place. I am glad I emigrated here some 37 years ago. Lots of mudcatters as well.
