Wyre lounge has been limited to ticket holders for a long time because of restrictions on total numbers in the Marine Hall building - it would be silly to fill the bar with non ticket holders, and then have to restrict the concert audience to comply with regs.

The over eighteen rule has caused some problems but is the Marine Hall's appication of the licensing law.
