Anyone know Tom Long's stuff? I learned his arrangement of Hardiman the fiddler from a magazine and enjoy it as an energetic fingerstyle thing with a palm-muted drone. (Except I'm too lazy to re-tune, and just do it drop-d.) I'd like to learn some other things like that, it's not something I do a lot. Anyone point me to similar things, or know if his book much in that vein?

Btw, anyone want a celtic melodies book and cd set? These turned out to be more lyrical and ambient than I'm in the mood for lately. I play for kids mostly and fast thumpy stuff is easier to put over.
