I'm such a jerk. I was in love with a girl who was living with my friend. They seemed a perfectly cultured couple--I still try to live like my first impressions of them. I knew I was a pretty messed-up person, just a kid at the time, couldn't recommend myself to anyone as a partner or mate, she was way out of my league and hardly seemed to notice me, and I would only be screwing things up all around, therefore I acted on it anyway.
